Alessandra Carloni, Roberta Dallara, Ciro Palumbo, Sadife, Bankeri, Sara Baxter, Hannu Palosuo, Ma Lin, Sabrina Di Felice, Felipe Cardena, Baxter, Roberto Tibaldi, Paitanji Maori, MC Farland, Michele D’Avenia, GAS Collettivo d’Arte Indipendente, Gimaka, Svetlana Grebeniuk e tanti altri doneranno una loro opera all’Associazione.

In October 2019, during a press conference at Palazzo Zanca, the deputy mayor, Salvatore Mondello, the president of A.RIS.ME., Marcello Scurria, and the expert of the mayor of contemporary art, Alex Caminiti, illustrated ‘Amenità’, event promoted by the Municipality of Messina. International artists, in 2020, will be engaged in the creation of works to be included in a more comprehensive framework of urban redevelopment, at zero cost. Artistic works will be positioned in various locations in the city, including PalaCultura, Palazzo Zanca and Irrera 1910. In this context, the project will also be included, which involves the embellishment of some elevations of buildings inserted in the areas of rehabilitation, using special paintings anti-smog, which will allow not only to beautify normally anonymous and / or degraded contexts, but also to reduce air pollution. The idea is to promote a pilot project and then extend it to more municipal areas.

Alex Caminiti, present with his works in museums on five continents, is one of the greatest exponents of Italian art. Equipped with a strong technical-pictorial awareness and an omnivorous curiosity that touches eclecticism. Caminiti is known, above all, as an informal, gestural artist: with a fluid sign, only apparently ‘wild’ and uncontrolled, full of references to the tradition of European informal, to that of American abstract expressionism, to the most recent suggestions coming from street-art and neo-pop sensibility. Alex Caminiti is, in reality, a painter linked to the Italian tradition and to a classical technique, based on an iron relationship between idea and composition, between drawing and strength of color, between form and content.

One of the objectives, linked to the social of our city, will materialize with the L’Aquilone ONLUS Association, chaired by Rosario Lo Faro. Master Caminiti will involve the artists who will come to the banks of the Strait – at the Association’s Educational Garden – where they will try their hand at artistic performances. Alessandra Carloni, Roberta Dallara, Ciro Palumbo, Sadife, Bankeri, Sara Baxter, Hannu Palosuo, Ma Lin, Sabrina Di Felice, Felipe Cardena, Baxter, Roberto Tibaldi, Paitanji Maori, MC Farland, Michele D’Avenia, GAS Collettivo d’Arte Independent, Gimaka, Svetlana Grebeniuk and many others will donate their work to the Association. Therefore, an open-air artistic path will be born at the Garden Tancrede Roy, in honor of the little American who swam across the Strait of Messina years ago accompanied by his mother Isabelle, his father Stephen and his coach Gary Emich, in the First Edition of ‘ Tancrede Swim Challenge … the challenge of a day the challenge for life ‘.
